Battery AH Explained
The best way to describe battery amp hour is that this is effectively the size of your fuel tank, the more amp hours your battery has then the longer the battery will last between charges. More amp hours does not increase the power of a given tool.
Battery Voltage Explained
A tool with a higher voltage than another is a bit like choosing an engine in a car, the higher voltage will generally mean higher power & performance. As with cars though a bigger engine does not always translate to better performance so it is important to compare the specifications of tools at different voltages between different manufacturers.

Works well with the charger and battery I already had for the B&D strimmer. Gets through thick twigs at speed, light and easy to use. Absence of an electrical cord makes the job easier.

Went for this model as same battery recharging system as Black and Decker mower I already have - first electric hedge trimmer I have ever used as always had manual shears in the past- so far so good - makes trimming hedge a breeze ??
Excellent piece of kit and the battery lasts ages.
An Excellent light, sharp and powerful hedge trimmer, battery length is excellent, an ideal solution for domestic and commercial use. The only slightly odd part is the design of the on off power trigger switches … continuous use for very long periods makes your fingers stiff, perhaps a slightly more ergonomic design in future might help the user
